Shri Nath Clinic

Shri Nath Clinic is located on Nayi Sadak in the Lashkar area. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always something going on right outside the door. Our clinic is quite modest. We have been here for years, and the building shows its age a little bit, but it works for what we need. It’s mostly a place for general checkups and quick visits. People from the Lashkar market often stop by when they have a headache or a cold. The waiting room is just a few wooden benches, and they are usually full by mid-morning. We don't have a lot of high-tech gadgets, just the basics to help the doctor figure out what’s wrong with the patients. It’s often quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. The staff consists of just a few local people who know everyone in the street. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that; we just handle the patients one by one. Sometimes the noise from the street makes it hard to talk, but we are used to it by now. It’s a simple life running a clinic here. We see the same faces year after year. We just open up, see the patients, and try to make sure everyone is okay before we lock up for the evening. It’s a small part of life on Nayi Sadak.
