Shree Balaji Kirana Store

Shree Balaji Kirana Store is right on Bhind Road in Gwalior. We are located near the Chambal Gate and the Maharajpura Air Force area. It’s a busy road with a lot of movement, so we see many different people every day. Some are local residents and others are from the military base nearby. Our shop is a very simple place where we keep all the daily essentials. You can find different types of grains, cooking oils, spices, and cleaning supplies. We also have some fresh items like eggs and bread that come in every morning. The shop is a bit long and narrow, so we have to be smart about where we put everything. We don't have any air conditioning, just some fans to keep the air moving when it gets really hot outside. There isn't any marketing or big corporate feel to our store. It's just a local business with the name painted on a board outside. We spend a lot of time checking what’s running low and making lists for the suppliers. Sometimes the dust from the main road gets inside, so we are always cleaning the counters. Most of our customers are people who have been coming to us for years. They stop by to pick up a few things and tell us about their day. It’s a steady job and we like being part of the life here near the gate.
