Maa Gayatri Dairy Farm Enterprises is out in Shiv Colony on Street No 5. We are near the oil mill, which is the easiest way to find us. It’s a bit of a dusty area but we like it here. We deal with milk and dairy products every single day. The work starts very early in the morning, usually before the sun is even up. That is when the fresh milk comes in. We have to be quick with the processing because dairy doesn't wait for anyone. Our family runs the place. It’s hard work and your hands are always busy. We don’t have a fancy office. Most of the space is for the equipment and the storage. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after each batch. Hygiene is something we have to watch constantly. People from around the colony come by for their daily supplies. We see the same faces every morning. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to fix them ourselves. It’s not a corporate setup at all. We just focus on getting the milk out and making sure the curd and paneer are ready. The oil mill nearby is a good landmark if you are looking for our street. We've been in this spot for a few years. It's just a local dairy farm doing its thing day in and day out.
