R. R. Tea Company

You can find R. R. Tea Company right in the heart of Naya Bazar in Lashkar. We are situated directly opposite the Punjab National Bank, which is a big landmark around here. Naya Bazar is always full of life, with sounds of bells, horns, and people bargaining everywhere. Our shop is one of those places where the door is always open. We deal with tea in a very traditional way. We don't have fancy computers or a slick office. It’s mostly just ledgers, some old pens, and a lot of tea sacks. Being across from the bank means there’s a lot of foot traffic. People pop in while they are waiting for their bank work to finish. We spend our hours sorting through different batches and making sure the shop stays clean, though with all the dust from the street, it’s a constant job. We’ve been in Lashkar long enough to know the rhythms of the market. We know when the deliveries will be late because of the narrow streets and when it's going to be a slow afternoon. It’s just us doing our daily tasks without much fuss. We like the noise of the bazaar; it makes the day go by faster. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide tea to the folks in Naya Bazar who need it for their morning cup.
