R. L. Hospital

R. L. Hospital is sitting right on M. S. Road. It is a charitable place, so we see a lot of people who really need help and might not have much money. The building is older and you can tell it has seen a lot of years go by. We do not have the newest paint on the walls or fancy art, but the beds are kept clean and the doctors stay busy. It stays crowded from early in the morning until late at night. There is usually a line at the reception desk with people holding their medical files and waiting their turn. We handle all kinds of cases, from basic fevers to more serious things that require someone to stay for a few days. Since it is a charitable hospital, we focus on getting people seen as quickly as we can with the resources we have. The staff works long shifts and we all know each other pretty well by now. It is a tight-knit group of people working here. You can hear the sounds of the traffic from M. S. Road through the windows because it is never really quiet outside. We do not have fancy brochures or anyone doing PR for us. Most people know we are here because we have been part of the community for a long time. It is a practical place where the only goal is to treat the sick. Some days are hard when the wards are totally full.
