Pratibha Spice Industries

We are located in Hastinapur Village, which is quite close to Jiwaji University. You can often see the students walking by on their way to classes while we are out here working. The spice industry is a busy one, and there is always something that needs to be crushed, dried, or bagged. Our facility is right in the middle of the village life, so we hear the temple bells and the cows passing by every day. It’s a noisy environment inside when the motors are running, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We started small, just a couple of machines in a shed, and gradually we added more space as we needed it. The walls are a bit uneven and the roof leaks a tiny bit when it pours, but it’s ours. We take pride in the fact that we do most of the work ourselves without relying on too much automation. It’s more of a family thing here. My brothers and I handle the heavy lifting while my mother still likes to oversee the cleaning of the raw spices. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. If you want to see us, you just come to the village and look for the building that smells like cumin and coriander. It’s just a basic business built on years of being in the same spot. We just want to get the work done right.
