Olyai Hospital

You can find us on Hospital Road in Lashkar. It’s a very old and familiar part of town for most of us. Being on Hospital Road means there are a lot of medical places nearby, but we’ve been here doing our thing for a long time. The hospital is a busy place with people coming in from all over Lashkar. We have a routine that starts early in the morning when the first staff members arrive to get things ready. It can be a bit chaotic outside with the traffic on the road, but once you step inside, we try to keep things moving in an orderly way. We see patients for all kinds of reasons. Our rooms are basic but they serve the purpose. We don't have any big mission statements or polished speeches. We just work here. Some of our staff have been with us for years and they know the building like the back of their hand. We spend a lot of time on cleaning and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s a lot of walking back and forth through the corridors. We talk to the patients and their families in a normal way because we are all neighbors here. We just want to provide a place where people can come when they aren't feeling well. It is a practical, local hospital that has become part of the daily life of Lashkar. We just keep going every day.
