Marina General Stores is located in Sarafa Bazar, which most people know as the place for gold and silver in Lashkar. But people need more than just jewelry, so we are here for the everyday things. We have been in Gwalior 474001 for quite a while now. The shop is filled with all sorts of general items that families need. It is funny because the shops around us are all shiny and bright, while we are just a regular store with packets of tea and bottles of oil. During the wedding season, Sarafa Bazar gets incredibly packed and we stay busy selling things to the tired shoppers. We open the shutters early and don't close until the street starts to quiet down at night. There is always a bit of a breeze coming through the door, which is nice. We don't do any big promotions or anything like that. We just sit on our stools and wait for the bell to ring. Most of the time, it is just neighbors coming in for a quick item they forgot to buy elsewhere. Marina General Stores is not a big chain, it is just us. We know the names of the kids who come in for candy after school. It is a good life here in the heart of the market, even if it is a bit cramped and busy. We just keep the shelves full.
