Madhawani Clinic

Madhawani Clinic is situated at House No 216 in Sindhi Colony. This is in the Lashkar area, which is a very old and established part of the city. Sindhi Colony has a very specific feel to it, with houses built close together and neighbors who have known each other for decades. Our clinic is basically just a part of one of these houses. It’s number 216, so it looks like any other home from the outside except for our small nameplate on the gate. The rooms are high-ceilinged and keep fairly cool even when it’s hot outside. Lashkar can be very busy with traffic and markets, but inside the colony, it stays a bit more peaceful. I usually walk to work, passing by the small grocery shops and people out on their porches. The clinic inside is kept simple. We have the original flooring and a few wooden chairs for patients. It’s not a modern medical center with sleek furniture; it’s more like a neighborhood doctor's office that has been part of the landscape for a long time. There is a sense of history in these walls. I spend my time organizing the files and making sure everything is ready for the day. Sometimes the neighbor's cat wanders near the door, and you can hear the sounds of families cooking nearby. It’s a very human place to be, right in the heart of Sindhi Colony. We don't change much around here because the old way works just fine.
