Maa Shitla Provision Stores is tucked away in the Alkapuri area of Gwalior, right on the New High Court Road. We are quite easy to spot if you are near the City Centre or if you see the Styam Tower nearby. This part of Gwalior has grown a lot lately, and we have seen many changes from our storefront. We keep a variety of provisions that the families in the nearby apartments and houses use every day. It is a quiet kind of work, mostly involving stocking shelves and helping people find what they need for their dinner. The City Centre area is usually the hub of activity, but our street has its own steady flow of people. We spend a lot of time making sure we have the right items in stock so nobody leaves disappointed. It is not a very large shop, but we try to use the space well. We have been here long enough that we know which brands the local ladies prefer. Sometimes the afternoon sun hits the front of the shop directly, making it a bit warm, but that's just how it is.
