Light Sign Industry

The shop at Light Sign Industry is located on Nai Sadak, directly infront of Shejwar House. If you are walking down the street, you can usually see us working on something bright. We spend most of our time bending tubes or messing with LED strips and wiring. It is a bit of a messy business, to be honest. There are wires hanging from the ceiling and tools scattered across the benches. We’ve been at this for a while and the shop has a certain smell of solder and warm plastic that you get used to after a few minutes. It isn't the quietest job because there is always some clicking or buzzing going on while we test the signs. We try to keep things organized but when you have five different orders going, the floor disappears under scraps of metal. Shejwar House is right across from us, so we use that as a landmark when people call asking where we are. Sometimes the street gets so busy that it’s hard to load the finished signs into the trucks. We just wait for a gap in the traffic and move fast. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the city, we just want to make sure the signs we build actually turn on and stay on. It’s a lot of manual labor and standing on ladders, but it’s what we know how to do.
