Religious Gifting ( Rg Metal Store)

Our shop, which most people around here call RG Metal Store, is right in the heart of Sarafa Bazar in Lashkar. It’s a very old part of Gwalior, and the lanes are so narrow that you can barely fit a cart through some of them. We are directly in front of the Lakshmi Narayan Temple, which is a great spot because there are always people around. You can hear the temple bells ringing all day long, especially during the morning and evening aarti. Religious Gifting is what we do, mostly things people use for poojas or for giving away during weddings. My grandfather started this shop a long time ago, and not much has changed since then. The walls are a bit stained, and the floor is worn down from all the footsteps over the years. We don't have a computer system to track things; we just write everything down in a big ledger. It’s a bit chaotic, especially during the festival season when the bazaar is packed with people buying jewelry and sweets. We just try to keep up with the demand. The metal work is dusty and can be quite heavy, but it’s what we know. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in the city. We just want to be the one people trust when they need something for their home altar. It’s just us, doing what we’ve always done in the middle of all the noise.
