Kumar Clinic

We are located right in the middle of Mama Ka Bazaar in the Lashkar area. If you have ever been to the bazaar, you know it is a crowded and loud place with shops selling everything you can think of. Our clinic is just one of the many doors along that busy street. It is a bit of a tight squeeze inside because space in the bazaar is hard to come by, but we managed to fit in a waiting area and a couple of rooms for seeing patients. You can hear the vendors calling out their prices from our waiting room. It is not the quietest place for a clinic, but it is convenient for the people who are already out doing their shopping or working in the market. We do not have any flashy signs or neon lights. It is just a simple board with the name on it. Most of our patients are people we have known for years—the shopkeepers nearby and their families. We do not have a fancy computer system for files; we still keep most things in folders on the shelves. It is a practical way to run things in such a busy environment. We do not try to be anything we are not. We are just a small market clinic helping out with the usual aches and pains. When the bazaar closes up for the night, we head home too. It is a simple life and a simple way to help the community in Lashkar.
