We spend a lot of time here at A-7 Shri Krishna Nagar. It is a pretty quiet part of Haider Ganj actually, even though Lashkar gets really loud in the afternoons when everyone is out on the streets. Itokri Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this spot for a while now. The building is not the newest on the block but it stays cool in the summer heat which is something we all appreciate. Sometimes the tea stall down the road gets a bit crowded so we just make our own inside the office. You can see the sign from the main turn if you are looking closely enough. Most of our days are just filled with paperwork and making sure everything is in the right place. There is a small window in the back that looks out over the neighbor’s yard and their laundry line. It is nothing fancy. We just come in, do the work that needs doing, and then lock up when the sun starts going down. People in Shri Krishna Nagar mostly know each other by face even if we do not always know everyone’s name. It feels like a regular place to work without too much fuss. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a bit of a hard time backing into the lane because it’s narrow, but we manage to get things moved eventually. It is just how things go around here in Lashkar most days of the week.
