Alias Event Management

Running Alias Event Management out of Jiwaji Ganj has its ups and downs. Most of the time we are just busy making sure chairs arrive on time or that the decorators didn't forget the specific color of cloth they were supposed to bring. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes especially during the wedding season when everyone wants everything done at the same time. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we keep our lists and take calls from people looking to put together a function. Jiwaji Ganj is a central spot so it makes it easier for people to drop by and chat about their plans. We handle small birthdays, bigger family gatherings, and whatever else people need help with. It's mostly about coordination and making sure the electricity doesn't go out during the main event. We have a small team that has worked together for a bit so we know how to deal with the surprises that always come up in this line of work. Things never go exactly according to plan but we manage to fix it before anyone notices. It gets loud and stressful but seeing a party actually happen is why we keep doing it. We don't promise anything magical, just that we will do the work and show up when we say we will. It’s practical stuff like booking the right size tent and getting the food served without making a giant mess of it.
