Jay Kay Beverages

Our place is located at Plot No. 262, right inside the Ice Factory Compound at Kampoo Ghat. It’s an interesting spot to be in, honestly. Being in an old compound like this means there is always something going on nearby. Jay Kay Beverages has been operating from this unit for some time now. We have some heavy crates stacked up and the floor is concrete, which makes sense for what we do. It gets a bit cold in the winters because of how the building is built, but we've gotten used to it over the years. We usually have a truck or two coming in or out during the midday heat. The entrance to the compound is a bit narrow, so drivers have to be careful when they turn in. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure the bottles are stored correctly. It’s not the quietest job, with the sound of glass and metal moving around, but it’s our daily routine. We know the other folks working in the compound pretty well. We share a tea break sometimes when things slow down in the afternoon. The office is just a small desk in the corner with a lamp that flickers if you tap it. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We don't have a big front window, just the main shutter. It works for us. Kampoo Ghat is a familiar place for everyone here who works around the factory.
