Janak Hospital

Janak Hospital is tucked away near Hujrat Chauraha on Jinsi Marg No. 3 in Lashkar. If you know Lashkar, you know how those streets can be, narrow and full of life. We are right near the chauraha, so there is always a lot of activity just outside our doors. The building is an older one, fitting in with the rest of the neighborhood. We haven’t changed much over the years because the current setup works for us. Inside, there’s a small desk where we take down names and a few rows of chairs for waiting. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, but we have the overhead fans going. Most of our day is spent talking to people from the nearby houses or those who come specifically to Jinsi Marg for their errands. It’s a bit of a walk from the main transport links, but people seem to find their way here just fine. We don't have a big marketing team or anything; we just rely on people knowing where Hujrat Chauraha is. The staff here have been around for a long time, so we know the regulars by name. It’s a very grounded place, no polished floors or expensive art on the walls. Just some medical posters and the sound of the city outside. It’s our corner of Lashkar, and we’ve been running things this way for a good while now without much fuss.
