J A Hospital

This is the Neurology Department n at J A Hospital. It's a specific part of the hospital where we focus on brain and nerve issues, which can be pretty complicated stuff for anyone to deal with. The hallways here are usually a bit quieter than the rest of the building because people are often resting or waiting for tests. We spend a lot of time looking at charts and talking to families about what’s going on with their loved ones. It isn't the most cheerful place, but it's important work that needs doing. The rooms are basic, with the usual hospital beds and monitors that beep now and then. We have a small team of nurses and doctors who stay pretty busy around the clock. Sometimes the coffee in the breakroom is the only thing keeping us going during a long shift. We don't have any fancy statues or art on the walls, just the stuff we need to get the job done. People come to us when they have bad headaches or other things that won't go away. We try to explain things in plain English because medical talk can be confusing for most folks. It’s a bit of a maze in this part of the hospital if you aren't used to it. We've been here for a while, just doing our part in the bigger hospital system.
