Gwalior Children Hospital

Gwalior Children Hospital is located right across from the Jhansi Road Police Station. If you are in the Gwalior HO area, it’s a very easy landmark to find. Being opposite a police station means there is always something going on outside, with vehicles and people moving around. Our hospital is focused on treating kids, so as you can imagine, it’s never really quiet inside. There is usually the sound of babies crying or children talking in the hallways. We have some older wooden benches in the waiting area that have been here for a long time. The walls are painted with some simple cartoons to try and make the kids feel a bit more comfortable, but the paint is starting to chip in a few places. We aren't a big corporate chain. We are just a local hospital that has been serving Gwalior families for many years. The doctors are usually busy from the moment we open the doors. Sometimes the wait times can get a bit long, especially during the flu season when many children get sick. We have a small pharmacy right on the premises so parents don't have to go far to get medicine. It’s a busy and sometimes chaotic place, but that’s just how it is with a children’s hospital. We don't have a fancy lounge or a coffee shop, just the basic things needed for taking care of the kids who come through our doors everyday and need help.
