We’ve been at 104, Pan In Plaza for a good while now. Shinde Ki Chawani is a busy part of Gwalior, and being in Lashkar City means there is always something going on outside our windows. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get the work done. Geeta and the rest of us spend most of our mornings sorting through files and answering the phone. It gets pretty loud in the afternoons when the market outside picks up speed. Most people know the building, so finding us isn't too hard once you get into the plaza. We have a few desks, some old cupboards full of paperwork, and a tea kettle that probably works harder than any of us. It’s a small team here. We don’t really do big meetings; mostly just sitting around the main table talking about what needs to be finished by Friday. Sometimes the power goes out, which is just part of living in Gwalior, but we keep going. We know our neighbors in the other offices well. We share the same hallway and sometimes help each other out with small things. It’s a practical setup. Nothing is polished or corporate looking. It feels like a real workplace because it is one. We just try to stay organized and keep up with the daily tasks that come our way. If you walk past room 104, you’ll likely see us buried in papers or drinking chai.
