Gastricare & Diabetes Clinic

We run the Gastricare & Diabetes Clinic on Tansen Road. It is a pretty basic place, nothing too complicated about it. We have been on Tansen Road for a while now, and the address is easy to remember since it’s just the road name twice. Most of our work involves talking to people about their stomach problems or helping them manage their diabetes. These are very common issues around here, so we stay fairly busy most days. The clinic is just a few rooms where we can sit and talk to patients. We spend a lot of time looking at blood sugar numbers and listening to people describe how they feel after eating. It’s not the most exciting work, but it is important for the people who live nearby. Tansen Road can get a bit hectic with all the cars and bikes, but once you come inside, it’s just a normal medical office. We have some benches for people to wait on and a desk for paperwork. We don't use a lot of big words or try to act like a giant hospital. We are just a local clinic doing our thing. Some days are longer than others, especially when a lot of people show up at once. We just take them one by one and do what we can. It’s a steady life and we’ve gotten to know a lot of the residents who live around Tansen Road.
