D.R. Projects is over here in Vasant Vihar, right in the heart of Gwalior. We’ve been operating from the D-8 spot for quite some time. It's mostly project work that we handle, which means every day looks a bit different depending on which site needs what. The office is usually a bit cluttered with papers and blueprints, as you’d expect from a place that’s actually working. We don't spend a lot of time making things look pretty for visitors because we’re usually out or busy on the phones. People in Gwalior know where to find us if they have something specific that needs finishing. It’s a small group of us running things. We don’t have a big corporate hierarchy or anything like that. Just a few folks who know how to manage a project from start to end without too much fuss. Being in Madhya Pradesh, we deal with the local climate and the way things move around here, which can be slow sometimes. We just focus on the task at hand. If there's a problem, we fix it. It's a very practical way of doing things. We’ve stayed in this same location for years because it works for us and our regulars know the way. You won't find us doing much advertising; word of mouth has always been how we get by. We just take it one day at a time and see what the next job brings. It's simple, honest work that keeps us moving forward.
