Dewrty Foundation

Our office is located at A-185 in Anandnagar, which is right in the Transport Nagar area of Gwalior. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of trucks and noise. The Dewrty Foundation started here because there’s a lot of activity and people who need a hand. The air is often a bit dusty from all the traffic, but we are used to it by now. We aren't some polished nonprofit with a glass office. We are right in the thick of things. Our space is simple, just enough for a few desks and some old files. We work with the local community, especially the folks who work in the transport sector. It’s hard work and the hours can be long. Sometimes we stay late to finish up paperwork while the trucks are still rumbling outside. We don't have a big team, just a handful of us who show up every day. We didn't have a grand plan when we started, we just saw things that needed doing. We’ve learned a lot about the local problems in Gwalior since we opened our doors. It’s a practical kind of place, and we try to be practical too. We don't use big words or make big promises. We just do the work as it comes and hope it makes a bit of a difference for the people around here. It's not glamorous, but it's what we do. We just keep going, day after day, trying to be useful.
