Chironjilal Ram Kishore

Chironjilal Ram Kishore is a name that has been around Naya Bazar Chauraha for a very long time. We are right there at the crossing in Lashkar, Gwalior. The address is 474001 and it is a spot where everyone seems to pass by at least once a day. Our shop has that old feel to it, with wooden counters and bags of goods sitting on the floor. We handle a lot of traditional items and stuff people need for their daily meals. It can get very loud outside with the horns and people shouting, but inside we just focus on the customer in front of us. We have seen the city grow and the roads get paved, but the way we do things has not changed much. We don't have any flashy lights or big posters. People come to us because they know the name Chironjilal Ram Kishore and they know we have been here through everything. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front door during monsoon, but we just put a bucket and keep going. We don't have a big team, just family and maybe one or two helpers. We get our stock delivered on trucks that struggle to get through the narrow streets. It is just the reality of doing business in an old part of Gwalior. We keep it simple and stay out of the way, just doing our job every day.
