Our office is located at Shop Number 114 on the first floor of the Congress Building. It is a place where there are always a lot of papers and folders spread out over the desks. We spend our days talking to students who are thinking about going abroad to study. They come in with a lot of questions about forms and what documents they need to get ready. We don't use a lot of big words or make promises; we just show them what the process looks like. Being on the first floor, we are a bit away from the noise of the main street, which is good when we need to concentrate on filling out applications. We have a lot of coffee and tea while we go through the checklists. It can be a bit tedious with all the rules and requirements that seem to change all the time. We just try to keep up with it so we can tell the students what they need to do next. Most of the time is spent on the computer or on the phone checking on the status of things. It is a small office with just enough room for a few people to sit and talk. We have been in the Congress Building for a while now and people usually find us through someone they know. We just take it one file at a time and try to help people get their paperwork in order without too much fuss or confusion.
