We are located in the Old Industrial Area of Birla Nagar, Gwalior, right next to the Sail Stockyard. You can't miss the stockyard, and we are just adjoining it. At Saffron Transformer Components, we spend our time making parts for transformers. It’s heavy work and the shop floor is usually covered in metal shavings and oil. We’ve got machines that have been running for years, and they make a lot of noise. It’s not the cleanest place, but it’s where the work happens. The summers in Gwalior are brutal, and the heat inside the workshop can be tough, but we just drink a lot of water and keep going. We are a small team and most of us have lived in this area our whole lives. We don't use big words or have fancy meetings. Usually, we just gather around a part that isn't fitting right and figure out how to fix it. There's a lot of manual labor involved, moving heavy components around and making sure the measurements are right. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. People find us because they need these specific parts and they know we've been here a long time. The industrial area is a bit grimy, but that’s just the nature of the business. We take pride in just showing up every morning and getting the orders out on time. It’s just us doing what we know how to do best. We keep our tools ready and our heads down.
