Bhuvneshwari General Store

You can find Bhuvneshwari General Store in Sadar Bazar, right in the middle of Morar, Gwalior. It is a small place, but we try to keep it well-stocked with whatever the people nearby might need. The street outside is always busy with shoppers and all kinds of vehicles. Our store is just one of many in this long row, but we have our own way of running things. The walls are painted a simple color, though they probably need a fresh coat of paint by now. I spend a lot of time just organizing the jars and packets on the shelves. It is like a puzzle sometimes trying to make everything fit in such a small space. We do not have any air conditioning, so we just use a small table fan to keep the air moving. It is a practical life, being here from early in the morning until late at night. We know the daily routines of the people who walk past our door every day. Some people stop for a quick chat, while others are in a big hurry. We just handle the requests as they come to us. The cash box is an old metal one that has been with us since the day we opened. We don't see any reason to change things that are still working fine. It is just a regular general store where we work hard and keep things going. The heat in Gwalior can be difficult, but we just carry on.
