Bhoodevi Vastram Llp

Down in Gwalior at 21 Kherapati Colony, you’ll find us working away at Bhoodevi Vastram Llp. It’s a nice enough spot, close to the center of things but still feels like a neighborhood. We started this because we wanted something of our own to do. The building is older, but it holds up well against the weather. We spend most of our time dealing with fabrics and making sure everything is handled properly. It gets dusty in Gwalior, so we’re always cleaning something. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try not to make too much noise in the mornings. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a few of us who know each other well. Sometimes we disagree on how to stack the boxes, but we figure it out eventually. There isn’t a lot of mystery to what we do here. We just like working with textiles and being part of the local community. If you walk past our place, you might hear a radio playing or just the sound of us talking. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. We just rely on doing things the right way and hoping people notice. It's been a few years now, and we're still here, so that's something. Every day is a bit different, but the work stays the same. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about whatever is happening in town.
