Balaji Medical And General Store

Balaji Medical And General Store is located in Ahamana Market, right opposite the main gate number one of Deen Dayal Nagar on Bhind Road in Gwalior. We are in a convenient spot for the people living in DD Nagar. Our shop is a bit different because we have both medicines and general items under one roof. You can come in for your prescription and also pick up a loaf of bread or some soap at the same time. This keeps us quite busy, as there is always someone needing something urgent. The shop is organized with the pharmacy section on one side and the grocery stuff on the other. It’s not a huge place, but we try to pack in as much as we can. Being on Bhind Road means there’s a lot of movement outside. We see a lot of familiar faces every day since we are right at the entrance of the residential colony. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just us managing the counter and making sure we give the right items to everyone. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when several people are asking for different things at once. We stay open late because health needs don't always follow a schedule. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we just take it one customer at a time and try to keep the essentials in stock for the whole neighborhood.
