Aradhna General Store

Being in Shastri Market on MLB Road means there is always something going on. Aradhna General Store is right near Padav Chouraha, which is a really crowded part of Gwalior. We’ve been here for a good while. The shop is filled with all sorts of things, from snacks to household items like buckets and soap. It gets pretty chaotic during the festival seasons because everyone comes to the market to shop. We don't have a fancy layout or anything. It's just shelves piled high with stuff. Sometimes the boxes are still on the floor when customers come in. That’s just how it is in a busy market. We know most of the other shopkeepers around Padav. It’s a small community of sellers. Some mornings are slow, giving us time to sweep up and restock the shelves. Then by noon, it’s constant. We try to keep up with what people are asking for these days. If we don’t have it, we try to get it in the next order from the wholesalers. The noise from the road never really stops. It's a loud, lively place to work. We aren't trying to be anything other than a reliable place to pick up your groceries or whatever else you forgot to buy. Just a regular store in a regular market. We deal with the power cuts and the dust like everyone else here in Gwalior. It’s a honest day’s work for us.
