Wintrobe Hospital Guwahati

Wintrobe Hospital has been situated in the Ambabadi area of Guwahati for a good while now. We are right across the street from the AGP office, so there is always something going on outside with people coming and going. The hospital itself is a busy place, as you can probably imagine. We have people coming in from all parts of the city, and the waiting room stays fairly full most of the time. It is not always the quietest environment, but that is just the way it is in a local hospital. Our staff members are usually running around between the different floors, making sure everything is where it needs to be. The kitchen in the back is always brewing tea, which is a bit of a lifesaver during the long night shifts. We aren't trying to be the most modern or flashy place in town. We just have the equipment we need and a team that shows up to work every single day. Some days the humidity in Guwahati makes everything feel a bit slower, but we keep pushing through the list of patients. You might see the doctors grabbing a quick snack at the stalls outside near the office during their breaks. It is a very normal, local operation. We know the people in Ambabadi and they know us. We just focus on the daily tasks and try to stay organized through the chaos. It's hard work, but we are used to it.
