Vijay Dry Fruit Stores

You can find us in Paan Bazar, right across from the Nilugal Market. It’s a very busy part of town, especially in the mornings when everyone is out buying their groceries. Vijay Dry Fruit Stores has been in this spot for quite a while. We sell nuts, raisins, and all kinds of dried fruits. The smell in the shop is always nice because of all the different items we have open in bins. It gets pretty crowded in here sometimes, especially before festivals. We spend a lot of time weighing things out and bagging them up for people. The Nilugal Market across the street brings in a lot of foot traffic. Sometimes it’s hard to find parking nearby, but people still make the trip. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure everything is fresh. We have to check the stock every day to make sure nothing is sitting too long. Our shelves are made of old wood and they’ve seen better days, but they hold the weight just fine. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. We just show people what we have and let them decide. It’s a simple way of doing business. Sometimes we run out of cashews or almonds because a shipment got delayed, and we just have to tell folks to come back next week. People around here understand how it is.
