Unique Trade Agency

We spend most of our days here in Athgaon, right near the railway gate number five. You can usually hear the trains passing by while we work in the Db Anand Complex. It’s not a fancy office, just a place where we get things done and handle our trade business. The building gets a bit dusty because of the road, but we’re used to it by now. We usually start the morning by opening up the shutters and getting the ledger books out. Some days are busier than others when the shipments come in. We don't really have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything is counted right and put in the right corner. Sometimes the tea stall downstairs is the highlight of the afternoon when things slow down a bit. We’ve seen the area change over the years, more traffic and more noise, but the railway gate is still the same landmark it always was. People find us by looking for that gate, and then they just walk up. It’s a simple setup we have here. We don't go in for big meetings or anything like that. We just talk across the desks. If someone calls, they’re usually asking about a price or where their stuff is. We try to keep it straight. The fans overhead hum all day, especially in the summer when the heat in Athgaon gets to be quite a bit. That’s just how it goes here.
