Oye Shopping

We are located on the third floor of Maniram Diwan Ling House No. 2 in the Ulubari area of Guwahati. Being up on the top floor gives us a bit of a view of the street, though we are usually too busy to look out the window. Our space is mostly full of cardboard boxes, packing tape, and computers for managing all the orders. We spend our hours checking what needs to be shipped out and making sure the addresses are written correctly. It gets a bit cramped when a big delivery of new stock arrives. There is no elevator in this building, so we end up walking up and down the stairs a lot every day. We started out in a smaller room and eventually took over this space because it was convenient for us. The team is just a small group of people who have been working together for a while now. Sometimes we take a break on the small balcony when the weather in Guwahati is not too hot. We do not have a store where people can come and browse, it is just an office where we handle the back-end side of things. We use a lot of packing materials and the floor is usually covered in scraps of paper. It is a fast-paced environment, especially when there is a big sale going on. We just try to get everything out the door on time.
