Trade & Agencies has been operating out of Srcb Road in Fancy Bazar for quite some time now. If you've ever been to Fancy Bazar in Guwahati, you know it's a maze of shops and people everywhere. It’s a tight squeeze getting any big deliveries in or out, but we’ve learned how to manage the narrow lanes over the years. We handle all sorts of trading goods. The shop is filled with boxes stacked nearly to the ceiling, and sometimes it feels like we’re running out of room to move. It’s not a modern showroom; it’s a functional space where we get orders ready and talk to suppliers. The floors are a bit uneven, and the lighting could be better, but it’s home to us. Most of our customers are locals who have been buying from us for years. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving stock around or checking off lists. It gets very crowded during the festive seasons, and the noise from the street is something you just live with. We don’t have a fancy website or a big marketing team. We just open up the shutters every morning and start work. There’s usually a thermos of tea on the counter and a pile of invoices that need sorting. It’s a practical, busy life in the heart of the market, and we wouldn't know what to do with ourselves in a quiet office. It is what it is.
