Organic Majuli

You can find us over at Sixmile, specifically near Chachal Tiniali. We go by the name Organic Majuli. Our place is basically a small shop where we keep items that come from the Majuli area. It’s not a big fancy store with bright lights. We have some wooden shelves and a counter where we talk to people. We get the products delivered and then we spend time sorting through everything. It’s a lot of manual work. The area around Chachal Tiniali is quite busy, but our shop stays relatively quiet. We aren't trying to be a huge business. It’s just a few of us who care about where the products come from. We don't have any big marketing plans or flashy advertisements. People usually find out about us from their neighbors or by walking past. The floor is made of simple tiles and we have a small back room for extra stock. Sometimes it’s a bit dusty because of the road outside. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening. We don't have a strict corporate dress code. We just wear what is comfortable for moving boxes around. It’s a straightforward business. We like the pace of things here. If you stop by, you might see us drinking tea or checking the latest arrivals. It’s a very local feel and we prefer it that way. We just do our best with what we have.
