Shaikh Food Products

Shaikh Food Products is run out of Shaikh Villa, which is right at 1-Hazi Sobiruddin Road in Paltan Bazar. Being in a villa sounds fancy, but it’s mostly just where we live and work together. Paltan Bazar is always buzzing with people, so there is never a quiet moment outside our doors. Inside, we are usually busy packing up food items or checking the latest batches that came in. The smell of spices and snacks is always hanging in the air. Sometimes it’s a bit overwhelming, but you get used to it after a week. We don’t have a massive factory with robots; it’s mostly hand-packed and checked by us. My uncle started this, and now we all just pitch in where we can. The Hazi Sobiruddin Road is narrow, so getting the delivery vans in and out is always a bit of a headache, especially in the afternoons. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the neighbors and the local shopkeepers who buy from us. It’s a very local way of doing things, I suppose. We don't bother with fancy advertisements or big slogans. We just make sure the food is decent and that the bags are sealed properly before they go out. If something isn't right, we just fix it ourselves. It's a simple life, busy but good, and we like being part of the bazaar community. Even when things get stressful with big orders, we just have some tea and get back to work. There's no use worrying too much when you've got snacks to pack and customers waiting outside.
