Sanjay Automotive is situated at Number 2 on A.T. Road. This road is always packed with cars and rickshaws, so there’s never a quiet moment during the day. We’ve been running this shop for a while now. Inside, you'll find a small place packed with spare parts and tools. Our main focus is just helping people get their cars back in working order. It’s a lot of dirty work, like crawling under chassis and getting oil on our shirts. To be honest, the shop isn't much to look at from the outside. There are some old signs and a few tires stacked up near the door. A.T. Road has been our home for a long time. Local folks like the tea seller down the street are good friends of ours now. Sometimes we help each other out if someone is missing a specific wrench. It’s a community of sorts. No one here has a big mission statement or anything. Most of us just like fixing things. When a car comes in with a weird noise, we take it apart until we find the problem. Seeing someone drive away happy is the best part of the day. The rainy season is the hardest because the water splashes in from the road. Wearing boots is a must, and we just keep going. It’s what we’ve always done. If you’re driving down A.T. Road and need something checked, you’ll find us right there at number two.
