S H Enterprise

Our shop is number 98 on Maniram Dewan Road in the Chandmari area. It’s a very easy place to find because we are quite close to the Assam Tribune building. Being in this part of town means there is always something happening outside our door. S H Enterprise isn't a very large operation, but we stay quite busy with the daily flow of customers. We carry a variety of goods that people in the neighborhood look for. The shop can get a bit crowded with stock, and sometimes you have to move a few things just to get to the back. We don't have any professional decorators, so the layout is just based on what fits where. We open up early in the morning, usually around the same time the news trucks are moving near the Tribune. The noise of the traffic on Maniram Dewan Road is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We spend our time checking invoices, helping people find what they need, and making sure the shelves don't stay empty for long. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we find it okay. We know the regular people who walk by every day to work. We don't use any big marketing tricks or anything; people just come to us because we’ve been here and we have what they need. It’s just a regular local business trying to do things right every day.
