We are located right in the middle of the Main Market in Fancy Bazaar. If you’ve ever been near the railway station here, you know how crowded and noisy it gets. It’s a constant stream of people and carts and rickshaws moving goods back and forth. Our spot is usually filled with crates and boxes of various oils and soya products. It’s a very busy environment. There isn't much space to move around once the morning deliveries arrive. We spend most of our time checking invoices and making sure the right boxes get to the right trucks. The air in Fancy Bazaar is always thick with the smell of street food and exhaust, but inside our unit, it's just the smell of packaging and bulk goods. It’s definitely not a quiet desk job. We deal with all sorts of traders and shopkeepers who are in a hurry. You have to be quick on your feet or you’ll get in someone's way. Sometimes the rain makes the market streets muddy and difficult, but the work doesn't stop. We don't have fancy furniture or a reception area. It’s just a practical space for moving products through the market. Most of us have worked here for years and we know the shortcuts through the alleys. It’s a bit chaotic, but that’s just the nature of doing business near the station. We keep our heads down and just get the job done.
