Organic Majuli

We are based in the Six Mile area of Guwahati. Organic Majuli is our small way of bringing things from the island and other areas to the city. We don't have a huge, fancy store with bright lights. It is more of a simple setup where we keep the stock we get. Most of what we have are things like rice, herbs, and other local products that are grown without all the chemicals. The shop in Six Mile is where we spend most of our time, checking the bags and talking to people who want something healthier for their kitchen. It is a bit of a trek for some, but the people in this part of Guwahati seem to know us well. We don't spend money on big ads. Usually, someone tries a bag of our rice and then tells their sister or their neighbor. That is how we have stayed open. The shelves are made of plain wood, and sometimes the floors need a good sweep because of all the foot traffic. We try to keep things as natural as possible, even in how we run the business. It is just us here, making sure the jars are full and the customers are happy with what they take home. If you are driving through Six Mile, you can find us easily enough. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just selling good food from the land. It’s a quiet life.
