We are located right in the heart of Fancy Bazar on T.R. Phookan Road. If you know Guwahati, you know how hectic this area can get. Milap Agencies has been sitting here for quite some time now. We aren't a big corporation with multiple branches; we just have this one spot where we do all our business. The shop is usually full of boxes and ledgers. We don't use much fancy technology for our records, mostly just old-fashioned books and pens. It works for us. Most of our customers are locals who have been buying from us for years. We talk about the weather or the local news while we sort out their orders. It’s a very relaxed way of doing things, even when the market outside is chaotic. Sometimes the cows block the road or the rain makes the street a muddy mess, but we always open the shutters on time. We don't have any fancy slogans or anything like that. We just want to sell our goods and make sure people get what they paid for. It’s a simple life. We spend a lot of time drinking tea and waiting for the next delivery truck to squeeze through the narrow street. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we know. We’re just a regular shop trying to do right by the people in the neighborhood. We’ve been here since the beginning and don't plan on moving.
