Media Studio

We're located on G. S. Road, running this little place called Media Studio. It's not a huge setup, just a couple of rooms with cameras, some lights, and a few computers for editing. We do photos for weddings, some video work, and sometimes just portraits for people who need them for work. The street outside is always noisy, but once you step inside, it’s a bit quieter. We spend a lot of hours sitting in front of screens, trying to get the colors to look right. Sometimes the equipment acts up, which can be a real pain when we’re on a deadline. It's mostly just two of us here every day. We don't have any fancy receptionists. If the phone rings, one of us just picks it up while we're working. People drop off their memory cards or come in to get their pictures printed. We’ve got some old photos framed on the wall from when we first started out. It’s changed a lot with digital stuff, but we still like the feeling of a good print. We’re not looking to become some big agency. We just like making things look decent on film. It keeps the lights on and lets us stay creative. Most days we stay late just to finish up a project. We keep some extra batteries and cables lying around just in case something fails at the last minute. It's a lot of sitting but we enjoy the results.
