Maa Kali Bhander

Our shop, Maa Kali Bhander, is on Faturi Road in Rampur. We are in Kamrup district, very close to the Padumbari Prathamik Vidyalaya. You can usually hear the kids at the school when they are playing outside during their breaks. It’s a nice area, quite local and friendly. The road can get a bit muddy when it rains, but that’s just how it is here. We sell all sorts of things that people in the neighborhood need. It’s a simple store. We don’t have fancy shelves or bright lights. Just the basic stuff stacked up where we can find it. We know most of the people who come in by their names because they live just down the road. It’s a lot of work keeping everything stocked, but we manage. My family helps out a lot with the daily chores. We open early so parents can grab things before taking their kids to the primary school. It’s a steady life. We don’t really think about big business goals or stuff like that. We just want to make sure the shop is open and we have what people are looking for. Rampur is a quiet place for the most part, and we’ve been part of this street for a long time. It’s just home for us and we enjoy being the local spot for the neighbors.
