Gurukul The Dance Studio

We started Gurukul The Dance Studio here in Ulubari quite some time ago. We are tucked away in the G.L Publication Complex, which is pretty easy to spot if you are walking near the Hanuman Mandir. It isn't a massive place, but we have enough floor space for the students to move around without bumping into each other too much. Most days the studio is just a mix of loud music and the sound of feet hitting the floor. We have different groups coming in, from little kids who are just learning to stay on beat to older folks who want to keep fit. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, though the fans do what they can to keep the air moving. We aren't big on fancy decorations or high-tech sound systems. It is just a basic studio where the focus is on the dance steps and nothing else. Sometimes the schedule gets a bit messy if someone shows up late, but we usually sort it out. The dust from the road outside is a constant battle, so we are always sweeping the floors before the next batch starts. People from around Guwahati know us as a simple local spot. We don't have a big reception desk or anything. You just come in, put your bags in the corner, and start your practice. It is a good way to spend an hour or two.
