We spend most of our time at No. 23 in Rukmini Nagar. It’s a busy part of Dispur, and honestly, the traffic outside can get pretty loud during the mornings. Our place, Deka Exim House, isn’t anything fancy to look at from the street, but it gets the job done for us every day. We’ve been here for a while now, and the neighbors mostly know who we are. Some days are quieter than others. When the monsoon hits Dispur, we sometimes have to worry about the rain getting too close to the door, but we manage. There is a lot of paper moving around and people coming in and out to check on things. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we don't really need a lot of formal meetings. We just talk across the desks. If you walk by No. 23, you’ll probably see a few of us standing near the entrance having tea or just catching a bit of air. It is just a normal spot where we handle our business affairs without much fuss. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet because there is always something more urgent to do. We just keep things moving along. It is a steady routine that we are all used to by now. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we all just wait it out together. That's just how it is here in this neighborhood.
