Creative Engineers

Our office is located at House No 42 on K K Road in the Chenikuthi area. It’s a bit of a climb since we are on the hill side, but the view of Guwahati from up here isn't too bad when the weather is clear. We’ve been working out of this house for some time. It’s a quiet residential street mostly, so we try not to make too much noise with our engineering equipment, though sometimes it’s unavoidable. The gate is usually open during the day, and you’ll see some of our tools and papers lying around the main room. We aren't big on decorations or anything like that. The walls are mostly covered with sketches and old calendars. It’s a practical space where we spend most of our hours. Usually, there are three or four of us here, depending on who is out on a site visit. Chenikuthi is a nice part of town, away from the worst of the city traffic, which we appreciate. Sometimes we go down the hill to grab tea from the local stall during our breaks. Life moves at a steady pace here. We just take the jobs as they come and try to get the engineering bits right. It’s just a small local operation, nothing more, nothing less. We like being part of this neighborhood and have gotten to know the people living on K K Road pretty well.
