Cineworth Sales And Service

Our shop, Cineworth Sales And Service, is situated at 6Bk, Kakati Road, in the Kamrup (Metro) district. We mostly deal with visual equipment and projectors, the kind of things people use for shows or meetings. The space is a bit industrial, with concrete floors and high ceilings. We have a big workbench where we take things apart to see why they stopped working. It can be quite frustrating when you can't find a spare part for an old machine. Kakati Road is a bit of a trek for some, but we have our regular clients who know we are here. The air is often humid, being in this part of the country, so we have to be careful about how we store the electronics. We aren't a big corporation. There are only a few of us here. We take turns answering the phone and doing the actual repair work. Sometimes we have to drive out to a site to fix something that’s too big to bring in. Those days are long and tiring. When we are in the shop, we usually have the radio playing in the background. It’s a quiet life for the most part. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure everything we fix stays fixed for a while.
