Vet Helpline (India) Pvt. Ltd. is located over in Guwahati on Krishna Nagar Road. Our place is in the Milanpur area near West Jyotinagar and Bamunimaidan. It is a bit of a journey to get here if you are coming from the other side of the city. We have been here for a while and we have seen the area grow quite a bit. Our work involves a lot of coordination and helping out with animal-related issues across the region. It is not an easy job and the phone never really stops ringing. We have a small team of people who actually care about what they are doing. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or a polished office space. It is mostly just books, computers, and people talking. We try to provide useful information and help whenever we can. Sometimes the days are very long and we feel a bit overwhelmed but we keep going because the work is important to us. We aren't a big international organization with millions of dollars. We are just a local group in Assam trying to make a difference in our own small way. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone. We just answer the phone and do the work that needs to be done every single day. It is just us here in the office doing what we know.
