Goyary Bamboo Marketing Private Limited

Down here in Beenapara, bamboo is what we know. We started Goyary Bamboo because there is so much of it around and people always need it for building or making things. Our place is near the post office, so it's easy to find. We aren't a big factory with shiny machines. We mostly work outside or under simple sheds. We get the raw bamboo in, sort it by size, and see what it’s good for. Some pieces are thick and strong, others are thin. It’s hard work on the hands, lots of splinters if you aren't careful. We talk to the local growers and buy what they have. It’s a very local thing. We don't have a sales team or anything like that. If someone needs a truckload of bamboo for a project, they come talk to us. We sit down, have some tea, and figure out the price. The weather affects us a lot. When it rains, everything gets muddy and heavy. We just keep the stacks as dry as we can. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We’ve been part of this village for a long time. The work is physical and tiring, but seeing a good stack of bamboo ready to go out makes us feel like we’ve done something real. We aren't looking to change much, just keeping the trade going for the next few years in this corner of the world.
